Seven years after a deadly triple shooting inside an Old Jefferson home that authorities say was fueled by a drug debt, Jefferson Parish jurors voted to convict the man accused of carrying out the violence, according to court records.
Arsenio Adams, 37, of New Orleans, was found guilty Thursday of second-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon and obstruction of justice after a three-day trial.
Adams had also been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals for shooting a dog during the incident. But jurors instead convicted him on a lesser charge of simple cruelty to animals.
