KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities is honoring a lineworker who died on the job Sunday.
In a Facebook post, BPU shared pictures of Joshua McKee when he visited a local school last year.
The BPU said McKee was ”a son, a father, a friend, a coworker, and someone who enjoyed connecting with people” before he was a lineworker.
“His kindness mattered. His willingness to serve mattered. But most of all, he mattered,” BPU wrote.
Kansas City, Kansas, Mayor Christal Watson said McKee died on Sunday while working near 31 S. 74th St. in KCK. His cause of death has not been released…
