SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — A water main break in Daybreak will cause lane closures on Daybreak Parkway lasting into early next week.
Joshua Timothy, communications specialist for South Jordan, told ABC4.com that the water main break happened while contractors were doing work in the area, and they wound up hitting a water line at around noon. City water crews responded quickly and shut the water off.
Timothy said that water is turned off for a small number of residents, but water should be restored later Friday evening, between 5 and 10 p.m. There is no danger to residents.

However, one lane of Daybreak Parkway at Lake Run Road is closed, and it will remain closed over the weekend. Asphalt work will start on Monday, so the lane closure will last into next week.
