Original Real Housewives Star Jeana Keough Battles Cancer as Donations Pour In

Additional Coverage:

Jeana Keough, an original cast member of the “Real Housewives of Orange County,” has been diagnosed with cancer, her family revealed in a heartfelt GoFundMe post.

Kara Keough, Jeana’s daughter, shared the difficult journey her mother has been facing. During a visit to Florida, Jeana mentioned a painful spot on her tongue that she initially thought was caused by a tooth irritation. Despite multiple dental visits, the sore persisted for nearly a year before the true cause was discovered.

Jeana underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tissue and later required a second procedure to remove lymph nodes. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which has taken a significant toll on her health. Kara described her mother’s daily struggle with exhaustion, severe pain, and difficulty swallowing, making basic nutrition and hydration a constant challenge.

The family has launched a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $22,000 to support Jeana’s medical expenses. As of now, the campaign has raised over $15,000. Although Jeana has not publicly addressed her diagnosis on social media, she has recently shared posts from her staycation, expressing gratitude and happiness about her new relationship.

Fans have responded with an outpouring of support and encouragement in the comments, sending love and positive wishes to the reality star.

Jeana, who left RHOC after season five, has continued to appear periodically in “friend of” and guest roles, including during the current season, maintaining a connection with the show and its fans.
