What We Know: Two Dallas-area veterans lost their jobs as the deal closes. Keith Solis, APD/MD and afternoon host at Smooth R&B 105.7 KRNB, signed off July 16 after nineteen years at the station. His tenure included roles as local newscaster for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Cluster promotions specialist Ossie Boddie also departed after fifteen years.
What They Said: Solis reflected on a 43-year career with characteristic grace. “After 19years, today is my last day at Smooth R&B 105.7,” he shared. “While I am disappointed, I am also extremely grateful that God has given me a 43-year career, which included opportunities and experiences that many could only dream of.” Boddie echoed that tone, noting he “got to work with radio legends and people that I consider family.”…
