Bay Area beachgoer could face charges after shooting self ‘accidentally’

A 28-year-old was hospitalized and could face charges after “accidentally” shooting himself in a beach parking lot, Pacifica police said Monday.

The shooting happened Sunday at about 6:32 p.m. in a Linda Mar Beach lot.

Once they arrived, Pacifica police and North County Fire Authority firefighters found the man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man, who police said is formerly of Washington state, was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment…
