MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A new program aims to help low-income households in the Charleston area restore or replace failing septic systems and gain access to cleaner water.

The septic repair financial assistance program, launched by Mount Pleasant Waterworks and Charleston Waterkeeper, helps eligible residents address faulty septic systems.
