Fayetteville Gambling Bust: Suspect Arrested in Multi-Agency Crackdown

Sung Jing Park, 65, was arrested Thursday, July 16, on charges of running an illegal gambling operation after Cumberland County deputies and DEA agents searched two locations in Fayetteville, according to WRAL. He faces one felony charge and two misdemeanor charges.

Deputies carried out search warrants at the 800 block of Castle Hayne Road and the 3100 block of Harmony Hall Way. Officials found several gambling machines and slot machines inside both locations, according to the sheriff’s office.
