LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A man found with “severe injuries” in the 300 block of East Oakland Avenue on July 13 has died.
Lansing Police Department Assistant Chief Eric Pratl told 6 News that Robert William Smith, 57, was pronounced dead on July 17.
Smith’s case was featured on July 15 on WLNS’s Crime Stoppers segment.
Crime Stoppers reported Smith was believed to have been assaulted on July 11 or 12, although he was not found until July 13. Smith was found with “severe visible injuries” and had been transported to the hospital in “very critical condition.”…
