Horry County fugitive with 9 warrants, including attempted murder, caught by police

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 23-year-old man wanted on multiple warrants, including attempted murder and kidnapping charges, has been taken into custody, the Horry County Police Department said.

Police said Jullien Lorenzo Lamont Bell was arrested early Sunday morning following a search led by their Violent Criminal Apprehension Team with assistance from the Street Crimes Unit, Myrtle Beach Police Department, and tips from the community.

Bell had been the subject of a July 10 public alert from HCPD and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. At the time, he was wanted on nine active criminal warrants, including attempted murder, kidnapping, multiple felony weapons violations, and other offenses.
