NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 20-year-old man was taken into custody after a high-speed pursuit across Nashville ended in a serious crash on Bell Road Sunday.
Officers initially tried to stop a Chevy Equinox for not coming to a complete stop while exiting a gas station on Dickerson Pike at Ewing Drive. The driver of the Equinox, identified as Brian Williams, sped up to avoid the traffic stop before Metro police’s helicopter began tracking the SUV and officers began gathering resources to apprehend him, according to court documents.
