PBSO issues more than 700 citations during six-day speeding crackdown

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies issued more than 700 traffic citations during a six-day enforcement campaign targeting speeding and other dangerous driving behaviors.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said deputies participated in Operation Southern Slow Down from July 13 through July 18. The high-visibility campaign was intended to reduce speed-related crashes and improve roadway safety.
