We honor the legacy of the cattle drives and the Chisholm Trail that grew Fort Worth’s economy in the late 1800s. Another equally important “trail” marked its 150th anniversary this week: the first train rolled into our city on July 19, 1876.
The arrival of the T&P was a significant event in our history, and it’s worth highlighting. Our city’s central U.S. location and our connections by trains, planes, and automobiles are significant strategic advantages that we use to market Fort Worth.
