The Coralville City Council took the first step towards an affordable housing project on 5th Street.
At the July 14 council meeting, the council unanimously approved a $600,000 purchase for a mixed-use building at 1400 5th St.
Services will continue to function within the building, home to office space and 10 studio apartments, until the city makes way for a larger affordable housing project…
