OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – A deputy shot during a standoff in a Dixon gated community files a civil lawsuit against the alleged shooter and his mother, court records show.
Lieutenant Jason Ketter was one of three Ogle County first responders shot in June 2024. The suspect in the case, Jonathan G. Gounaris, 34, faces a number of criminal charges, including four counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Ketter is suing Gounaris; his mother, Robin Gounaris; and realty business Baldwin Estates, for more than $50,000 for a wrongful act, records show.
