EUGENE, Ore. – Police are investigating another burglary targeting an Asian family’s home, marking the latest in a series of organized crimes against Asian residents in the area, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said the break-in happened shortly after 10 p.m. on July 17 at a home near Northwest Expressway in west Eugene. The burglars stole cash and valuables and moved security cameras, according to Eugene Police. The victims are Asian business owners. The crime follows a pattern of previous burglaries targeting Asian homes and valuables while families are at work, police said.
