SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – Three people, including two juveniles, were arrested after police recovered a handgun with a defaced serial number during the execution of a search warrant at a Southbridge residence.
According to the Southbridge Police Department, detectives and officers, assisted by the Massachusetts Environmental Police K-9 Unit, executed the search warrant Thursday, July 16, at a home on Elm Street as part of a months-long investigation.
During the search, the Environmental Police K-9 alerted investigators to an area inside a bedroom, where officers recovered a 9mm semi-automatic handgun with a defaced serial number, making it untraceable, according to police. Officers also seized a box of 9mm ammunition…
