A 37-year-old man died while in custody at the St. Louis County Justice Center early Sunday morning.
Jail officials said Anthony Holloway was alone in his cell when he was found unresponsive at 12:29 a.m. Dr. Gershom Norfleet, St. Louis County’s chief medical examiner, said the cause of death is pending toxicology results.
“There was no trauma identified after autopsy examination,” Norfleet said in a statement.
