A pickup truck driver plowed into two pedestrians near North Grand Boulevard and Natural Bridge Avenue Friday night and kept going, leaving one man dead and a woman fighting for her life in a St. Louis hospital. The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection bordering Fairground Park, and the driver has not been found.
According to First Alert 4, the pickup was traveling southbound on North Grand near Natural Bridge Road when it struck both pedestrians and fled the scene. The man died at the hospital, while the woman was listed in critical condition. St. Louis police are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at 314-444-2500 or reach out to Crime Stoppers.
The station’s report does not identify either victim or describe the fleeing truck in detail, and it’s not yet clear whether the vehicle’s license plate or direction of escape was captured on nearby cameras. A Familiar and Deadly Stretch of North Grand
This isn’t the first fatal hit-and-run on this corridor. Almost exactly a year earlier, 20-year-old Tori Dunn was killed in an August 2025 hit-and-run just blocks away on the 2500 block of North Grand Boulevard, a case that led to felony charges against a St. Louis driver last month, according to KSDK.
