Cyclospora outbreak: 46 cases in New Jersey, 28 in Pennsylvania, including 5 cases in Bucks Co.

A microscopic organism, Cyclospora, is currently making thousands of people sick across the United States hiding in produce.

“There’s a real risk it could show up on your dinner table tomorrow night,” said U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer in a news conference Monday. “Here in New Jersey, our Department of Health has logged 46 cases, and the number of cases is still climbing.”
