Grand Rapids Commission approves work on city’s first long-range transportation plan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids is launching its first long-range transportation plan, an effort city leaders say will guide people move around the city for decades.

The Grand Rapids City Commission on Tuesday approved work on the Grand Rapids Mobility Blueprint, a 20-year vision for how people and goods move safely and reliably through Grand Rapids, according to Mobile GR.
