A 30-year-old Alliance woman was killed this morning in a horrific two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 62 and Harmont Avenue NE in Canton. One car flipped, and both vehicles wound up in the southeast corner of the intersection.
Canton police and emergency crews rushed to the site, discovering substantial damage to both vehicles. One vehicle had overturned, and authorities worked to secure the scene while treating the injured drivers.
According to Cleveland 19 News, a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado was heading east on U.S. 62 when it collided with a 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage turning south onto Harmont Avenue. Police identified the Mitsubishi driver as Erin R. Stevens, 30, of Alliance. She was evacuated from the vehicle due to substantial damage and later confirmed dead at Aultman Hospital…
