Teen admits to arson in 6-alarm fire at former furniture factory, DA says

One of two teens charged in relation to a destructive fire last month in Allentown entered an admission to charges Wednesday in juvenile court, prosecutors said.

The 15-year-old entered the admission to arson and causing a catastrophe, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan said in a news release.

“The defendant will be held in a juvenile facility that offers treatment for fire setters,” the release states. “Restitution in the case has yet to be determined.”…
