Double-murder suspect Anthony Gaines appeared in Christian County Circuit Court on Wednesday where he was arraigned on additional charges related to an assault incident while in custody.
Gaines is already charged with two counts of murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence and four counts of wanton endangerment for the 2021 shooting deaths of Kierra Wallace and George Gomez.
Gaines was additionally arraigned on two counts of third-degree assault of a corrections officer and four counts of third-degree terroristic threatening.
