Clermont County residents rely on each other after tornado

OHIO — As the clouds cleared in Clermont County Wednesday afternoon, residents were able to get a proper understanding of the damage from Tuesday’s tornado.

“You hate that some of your trees — I’ve watched them grow. I’ve lived here 23 years. And some of the trees, I planted them. They’re gone,” said Nick Carmosino, a Clermont County resident. “Nothing I can do about that. But, you know, it’s just at this point, it’s just a nuisance more than anything.”

While winds knocked down trees and power lines, no one was reported injured. Crews spent most of the day cutting limbs and making sure the roads were clear of hazards. Residents said they also relied on each other to help collect the pieces the severe weather left behind…
