KENTUCKY (FOX 56) — Weather surveyors are working on Wednesday to assess multiple areas across the Bluegrass affected by a brutal severe weather system that tore across the state.
On July 22, the National Weather Service (NWS) offices in Louisville and Jackson announced plans to survey damage left by Tuesday evening’s storms.

NWS leaders in Louisville said team members planned to survey an area in Bourbon County near North Middletown and two areas in Casey County.
The NWS office in Jackson announced that surveys were planned for Montgomery County and Pulaski County.

Other surveys will take place outside of the FOX 56 viewing area, including Owen County, where a possible tornado was observed, and Meade, Hardin, Grayson, Hart, and Metcalfe counties…
