TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV/Gray Capital Bureau) – ICE agents won’t be at polling places in Florida, Leon County’s Supervisor of Elections Mark Earley confirmed in an interview on Wednesday.
Earley made the remark during public testing of the capital county’s voting machines, which have so far passed all benchmarks. The event, which was attended by the League of Women Voters and local media, also tests the auditing system.
The supervisor of elections also said that if James Fishback, or any other candidate for that matter, is eventually ruled ineligible, any votes cast for him won’t be part of the results. That means any votes for Fishback can’t be changed, even if a judge rules him ineligible next week…
