ONE Transit Plan Names Airport Corridor Light Rail
According to the May 2026 System Plan from ONE Transit, the agency has adopted Locally Preferred Alternatives for four regional corridors. One of those is the Airport Corridor, explicitly designated as Light Rail and described as connecting downtown OKC and Will Rogers World Airport via Reno Avenue and Meridian Avenue.
The plan states that these LPAs are expected to advance into environmental review and preliminary engineering next. Final design and construction would come later, once funding is identified.
