GREEN BAY (WLUK) — About 15 people gathered outside the Brown County Courthouse Wednesday night in support of a man shot by a Madison Police officer earlier in the day.
The Northeast Wisconsin chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America planned the gathering, billed as a candlelight vigil.
People could be seen holding signs reading, “They executed him,” and “He was somebody’s son!” Another sign read, “No more killer police.”
Another person at the gathering chanted “prosecute police,” and “Hands up don’t shoot.” Another person also held a sign saying “hands up don’t shoot.”…
