LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — A standoff between a Lafayette Parish man and Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT operators ended peacefully in an arrest, with the road reopened and the area cleared without incident, according to LPSO.
Brian Trahan, 64, of Carencro, is charged with illegal discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle and aggravated criminal damage to property.
Deputies reported SWAT team members arrived at a home on LA 1252 not far from where it crosses over I-49 and just north of Carencro on Wednesday, July 22, around 2 p.m. to execute an arrest warrant for Trahan on the above charges…
