INDIANAPOLIS — An arrest warrant has been issued for an Indianapolis man wanted for a series of car and business vandalisms around the Lockerbie Square neighborhood in downtown.
More than a half dozen cars and businesses had their windows smashed this week. Prosecutors quickly charged 29-year-old Jamesley Amilcar with one of those crimes.
It turns out, the suspect has only been out of jail for three months after being convicted of the same crimes in April.
“We were able to get a warrant within 12 hours. That’s record time to get a warrant for this offense. We recognize if we don’t get this individual in custody, these incidents might continue,” said IMPD’s downtown district commander Shane Foley…
