CALIFORNIA STATE – The drive-thru window has long been a defining feature of California’s car-centered landscape, offering burgers, coffee, prescriptions and even banking services without requiring customers to leave their vehicles.
But a growing number of California cities are deciding that drive-thrus may no longer fit the communities they are trying to build.
