This is one of the many downsides of construction season. We all know that construction season in the Northland is long and it seems there is always some sort of project going on. It seems there are even more projects than usual at the moment.
While road construction can be a pain in general, it really hits local businesses in the area. It can lead to confusion as to if businesses are open AND some people might get frustrated, give up trying to get somewhere and decide to go elsewhere.

Such is the case with Dead On Arms and Second Chance Surplus. I was chatting with Candi, the owner, this week and she told me about how the construction has made business slow over the past month or so since it began.
She told me that signs saying ‘road closed to thru traffic’ have created confusion where people think they can’t drive through if they are going to a local business. However, you are able to drive through if you are visiting a local business!…
