The stray cat population across the Las Vegas Valley in Nevada keeps expanding, and the caretakers working to manage it say the scope of the problem is outpacing what they can handle alone.
Anni Labansant has spent 33 years trapping, feeding, and arranging spay and neuter surgeries for stray cats throughout the region. Despite three decades of effort, she said the work never feels finished.
