1 killed in rear-end crash near Dead Man’s Curve

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A pickup truck driver is dead after reportedly rear-ending a semi-truck near Dead Man’s Curve early Thursday, July 23.

It happened at about 4:30 a.m. on Interstate 90 between Dead Man’s Curve and the East 55th Street exit, according to Cleveland police investigators.

The man was headed east on the freeway in the pickup truck when it ran into the back of a semi-truck also headed east. Speed is believed to have contributed to the crash, according to the release.
