MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A death investigation is underway after a 29-year-old Shelby County detainee died in custody Wednesday.
Justin Hardaway was a pre-trial detainee who was booked into the Shelby County Division of Corrections last Dec. 18, a spokesperson with the Shelby County Mayor’s office said.
