SYLVANIA, Ohio — A major bridge closure in Sylvania is set to reopen in about two weeks, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation’s district spokesperson.
Kelsie Hoagland says the Monroe Street bridge will open to traffic both ways on Aug. 8, as long as the weather allows.
The bridge closed in March for work on repairs and widening, and it was scheduled to last for about 150 days. The project is part of a larger one that aims to improve traffic flow and make the corridor safer, as Sylvania officials say the bridge sees about 40,000 vehicles daily…
