GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — Volunteers fanned out across northeastern Wisconsin overnight to count people living on the street as part of a twice yearly homeless count that wrapped up at about 5:30 Thursday morning.
The preliminary count was 114, but that number will get higher as other organizations report in.
In July 2025, 179 people were found living on the streets. Organizers said they expected a similar number this year and noted that shelter numbers have been trending high.
How the count works
