MOLALLA Ore. (KPTV) – Clackamas County sheriff’s deputies arrested two Tualatin residents after witnesses said they threatened multiple people with bows and arrows at the Three Bears Recreation Site near Molalla.
Deputies were called around July 21 after people trying to reach the Molalla River for a swim said a woman at a nearby campsite yelled that they couldn’t use the area, then pointed what was described as a loaded crossbow at them, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. A man at the campsite was also seen yelling, the sheriff’s office said. The group left and called 911.
A short time later, another group flagged down a Molalla police officer and reported a similar encounter, the sheriff’s office said. In that incident, witnesses said the woman had a bag of arrows while the man pointed what was described as a crossbow and yelled at them to leave…
