FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Enjoy the pleasant conditions while they last. Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio will see mild temperatures and mostly dry skies through the weekend, but a weather system is taking shape that could impact your Monday evening and night.
Your Weekend: Comfortable and Mostly Dry
Friday morning looks partly cloudy with a high near 79 degrees — a nice start to your weekend. Saturday will be even better with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 83 degrees. It’s a great day to get outside and enjoy the weather.
Sunday will warm up further with partly cloudy skies and a high of 89 degrees. While there’s a weak chance of an isolated storm, most of us will stay dry. Be aware that tropical humidity levels will move in Sunday, making it feel more muggy and uncomfortable.
Monday: A Day to Watch
Here’s where things get interesting. Monday will be partly cloudy with a high near 90 degrees, but the real story is what happens late in the day and into the evening. A chance of late-day storms is expected, and some storms in the Midwest could become strong to severe.
