CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The afternoon commute was a dangerous one across the Charlotte region as periods of rain created hazardous driving conditions and flooded spots that typically, can’t handle the water.
WBTV crews watched conditions worsen throughout the afternoon, with ponding water lingering along roadways and blocking shoulders in some areas.
