COLONIE — Westbound lanes of Route 7 reopened late Friday afternoon after a crash had prompted lane closures hours before.
The lane closures came around 3:30 p.m. and caused traffic to slow to a crawl on Route 7 between Boght and Old Loudon roads, according to 511NY, the state Department of Transportation’s traffic alert system. As of just before 5:30 p.m., the lanes had reopened and traffic had eased.
Another crash on Interstate 87 just past the Twin Bridges also slowed northbound traffic between Colonie and Halfmoon. The right shoulder was closed but has since reopened…
