While afternoon highs may be a few degrees cooler on Friday, temperatures across Southern California will remain well above average, with heat advisories and warnings still in effect. Forecasters say there are no signs of meaningful relief in the near future.
“Listen, it’s just one of those things where you know what I’m going to say,” KTLA meteorologist Henry DiCarlo said. “The big ridge of high pressure is definitely with us.”
