WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Early voting started on July 17, and some Williamson County elected officials are disappointed in voter turnout.
Williamson County Commissioner Bill Petty, who has visited multiple voting precincts since early voting began, says he’s barely seen anyone exercising their right to vote.

According to the League of Women Voters of Williamson County, a non-partisan volunteer organization, there are 198,000 registered voters in the county.
Data from the Tennessee Secretary of State’s website shows the last non-presidential election in 2022 had 18,820 people early vote—that’s around 9% of registered voters. Two years before, in 2020, the county saw nearly identical numbers…
