Friends and family of Carpinteria native Roxana “Roxy” Avalos are asking the community for support following her passing after what organizers described as a hard-fought battle. Avalos passed away on Saturday, July 18, at the age of 41.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched with a goal of raising $25,000 to help cover funeral expenses and ease the financial burden on her family.
