SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Current Georgia Bulldog and former Savannah Christian Preparatory School defensive lineman Elijah Griffin was named a member of the preseason All-SEC defensive second team.
Griffin was a standout for Savannah Christian, finishing his high school career with more than 300 total tackles, 96 tackles-for-loss, and 44 sacks.
In his freshman year at the University of Georgia, Griffin had 22 total tackles (14 solo and eight assisted), one sack and one forced fumble.
