TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Neighbors near a vacant home on Albert Street say the property has become overrun with bees, rats, groundhogs and raccoons since the owners left months ago, and they are calling on city and county agencies to act.
Larry Wertz, who lives near the property, said a bee infestation that originated in the vacant yard has spread to his home, preventing him from using his front door.
“My kids come over to visit and they can’t even come in my front door because of the bees,” Wertz said.
