MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WIFR) – The North Park Fire Protection District fired its chief Friday morning.
Joel Hallstrom tells WIFR he is no longer with the department following a unanimous decision by the trustees of the fire board.
According to a Winnebago County Board member, internal issues led to the firing.
