SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The next phase of the Forward 44: Springfield Improvements Project is closing two ramps to allow MoDOT construction workers to repave them. Workers will work 24/7 this weekend to ensure this part of the project is completed before Monday morning traffic.
“In that eastbound direction, they’ll have access to the Kansas interchange, and they’ll also have access to the Glenstone interchange,” said Brad Gripka, a resident engineer with MoDOT over Springfield. “But with this work, to keep traffic flowing safely, we’re going to be closing down the Kansas on-ramp to go eastbound as well as the Glenstone on-ramp.”
