Boise landmark closing for renovations and preservation

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise Depot in downtown Boise will be closing its doors to the public beginning August 2. Giving the century old building some updates and renovations.

Recently, the Depot celebrated its 100th year, but after 100 years of wear and tear some parts are in need of fixing.

“Our main goal is to make sure that the building stays around for another hundred years,” said Sarah Schafer, the senior project manager for the Public Works Department in an interview Friday morning…
